Great article! The satire is spot on as far as the flavored condom industry is concerned. I only wish more people were willing to take these “novelty” condoms more seriously, as they have treated my girlfriend and I well since we started using them. In short, they are a lot of fun! It’s fun (and funny) to imagine a whole breed of different flavors for condoms, but the reality is most people are not even willing to try out regular flavored ones to begin with. Most women I have been with have never mind your basic fruit flavors, strawberry in particular. I assume that fruit is more sensual, so it makes sense that it tastes good during sex time. Keep supporting the flavored condom industry as you are right now! Write some more blog posts too, always love reading them!

Great list! I tend to stick with the classic “rubber” when I am referring to my condoms, if I give them a nickname at all. In all honesty, I’m not even sure why condoms have received that nickname either. Last I checked condoms were not made out rubber, am I right? They are generally made out of latex, and I don’t think latex is a member of the rubber family? Then again, I may be wrong. Maybe it’s time for me to go ask Google.

My friend Greg (as seen above) sent me a link to this website, I guess thinking I would find it to be funny. haha. I have to say, it is pretty funny, interesting, and in some ways (like in this article) pretty enlightening as well. While I think it is common knowledge that sex is a healthy thing (it is an exercise of sorts), I do not think most people are aware of the details. When talking about getting better sleep as a byproduct of sexual intercourse, or getting into the chemicals that are released, then you are talking in a territory not often discussed by the common person. As odd as it is for my guy friend Greg to send me to this site, I think it is really great for people in need of some unique condoms and by extension unique sex encounters. Very interesting! Maybe my boyfriend will be able to “do it like an Olympian” some day.

Frankly, sex feels good. It is good to know that the good feelings sex bring come additionally with health benefits. It is amazing to see how human beings tend to live longer if they are having an active sex life. Assuming they are having sex safely (hooking up every night without condoms is probably going to shorten your life instead of extend it!), it can be a really great benefit. I think for once I will without a doubt trust science and the research that tells us to have sex, if you will. Sounds like a good idea to me. Now…just to find someone to do it with…

Bubble gum flavored condoms actually does not sound too bad. It actually sounds like it could be really good! The thing about bubble gum is that, in general, they are just flavors taken from nature. For example, you can have grape bubble gum. It’s hardly bubble gum though, it tastes like grapes! One flavor I could really enjoy is mint. I was just thinking how cool that would be (no pun intended). Doing the deed would be kind of like brushing my teeth. It would also be very ironic to come away from this sort of encounter with a really clean feeling mouth, after doing something so dirty. That’s my take on it all!

Eww to most of these! I am a guy and just the thought of a girl going down on me with some of these sounds really nasty! Though, I have to admit, this is some great joking you have on here. Not too many websites can take themselves less then seriously in their blogging content. You have definitely amused me to say the least! To mirror what Renee (one of the above commenters) wrote, I do think the Rocky Road Ice Cream sounds like it could actually be really good, so long as it was done right. Honestly, any ice cream flavor could be great!

This one is pretty hilarious, though undoubtedly very offensive. One name I made up for condoms is the “Shroud of Turin.” Maybe for any anti-religious people (like myself) roaming the world, this one might ring true. Hopefully the condom you are using doesn’t work in the same way as the alleged shroud, either, otherwise you will not be wearing one! Hopefully this isn’t too “bad” of a nick name for your website, though I would think a site dealing with sex wouldn’t be too offended by anything else. I am really enjoying the list here too, by the way. I never would have thought of so many names on my own! Sometimes I think people have too much time on their hands, or maybe not if they’re spending it all having sex! Flavored condoms for the win!!!

You would think there would be more guys coming on here and commenting, maybe they don’t want to be seen looking at flavored condoms? Even worse (or is it?), maybe only girls are looking for flavored condoms? It doesn’t really matter either way, just something I kind of noticed as I was looking through your blog. Personally, I love sex for a lot of reasons, but it is great that I am able to burn some calories and feel healthier afterwards. Maybe more sex-related companies should start promoting having sex for the sake of health and getting exercise, maybe more needy people would be able to engage in it. Sometimes I feel like people are really dumb for not knowing the real benefit of sex. I think we take it a little too seriously, even after we have birth control and condoms on hand.
